Located on an acreage property in Forestdale, Brisbane, this home was built in the mid 80’s and remained untouched until the current owners decided to inject life back into her.
This classic brick residence was redesigned to deliver a luxurious yet highly functional lifestyle for a growing family.
The project centred on creating a home that balanced elegance, comfort, and entertaining, while maximising the natural connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
With expansive living zones, a grand kitchen, and an impressive alfresco and pool area, the home was designed to support both family life and large gatherings.
The Design Challenge
The brief for this project was ambitious.

This layout allows the kitchen to connect naturally with surrounding living and dining areas and flow to the alfresco.
Multiple Living Zones
The home includes three separate living areas, allowing the family to enjoy both shared and private spaces.

- Open-plan family living area
- Media room
What was once segregated spaces is now open plan living.
